We’re based in Portland and work with clients across the entire state of Maine, and we’re licensed to help folks in New Hampshire and Vermont too. Ashley owns Northern Shore Insurance, a GEICO Exclusive Agency, and she’s the friendly face behind the way this office treats people. She has more than 13 years in insurance, including several years working directly with GEICO in Virginia before she opened her own agency in Maine in 2018. What she brings to the table is a deep understanding of coverage and a real love of helping people sort it out.
Before insurance, Ashley spent three years managing a Chick-fil-A, where she sharpened the leadership, communication, and service habits that still shape how she runs things today. If you’ve ever had a great experience at a Chick-fil-A counter, you already know what to expect here.
Ashley believes insurance should never feel transactional or one-size-fits-all. Every family has different priorities, different risks, and different goals, so she listens first, figures out what matters most to you, and recommends coverage that fits your life instead of a policy pulled off the shelf.
Ashley lives in the Lakes Region and loves calling this corner of Maine home. When she’s not helping clients sort out coverage, you’ll probably find her out on the water in her kayak or exploring the area with her dog Alfie (who, in Ashley’s completely unbiased opinion, is the goodest boy in the state). She’s a traveler too, and wherever she lands, you can bet she’s tracking down the best local restaurant and the best cup of coffee. Turns out the same curiosity that finds a hole-in-the-wall café is exactly what makes her so good at digging into the details of your policy.
Ashley has been cheering on Hearts of Pine since day one as an inaugural season ticket holder, and she’s counting down to the club’s new women’s team arriving in Maine. Off the field, she’s just as passionate about championing women-owned businesses, building connections and backing fellow entrepreneurs the same way she backs her clients.
